What Others Are Saying

Dr. Elaine’s™ Soil Food Web Approach is an effective and viable means of rapidly regenerating agricultural soils, enabling farmers to operate without the use of chemical inputs, thus protecting the world’s waterways, insect and animal populations. Restoring the Soil Food Web to agricultural soils restores productivity and profitability to agriculture and results in substantial levels of carbon sequestration, and has the potential, if implemented on a global scale, to return atmospheric carbon to the safe level as identified by the IPCC.”

Dr. David Johnson

Our farm was in serious trouble, but after implementing the SFW approach we increased our yield by 150% in a single season, and we were very successful to repeat this approach on different soils at different farms achieving excellent results. We also cut many input costs such as fertilizers by at least 60%. We continue to monitor and move our soils to a much better place, production continues to increase while many other benefits become apparent such as, reduced disease, improved crop resistance to cold and/or heat, improved drainage, reduced soil salts, as well as improved water holding capacity and at the same time achieving improved taste as well as better shelf life.”

Shane Plath

One of my clients out in the Midwest does soy and corn. In 3 years they completely eliminated Roundup… switched over to non GMO, and just that alone had saved them over $1M… What business can you go into, make money, and yet you’re giving back to society? You’re giving back to the environment and you’re giving back to your children.”

Todd Harrington

“I plan to use what I learned here to help with my vegetable growing. At work, I hope to establish a composting production facility and develop teas to help the vitality of the trees I manage, giving them a biological boost to make them more resilient to climate change. I’m not sure if I’ll become a consultant, but I want the learning and to practice skills in compost production, and to share that information with my team.”

Geoff Welsh

I’ve found my people here—mentors and participants who share my genuine desire to do the right thing for the planet, to build soil and support ecosystems. In other contexts—conferences, tree or plant groups—I often feel isolated because approaches tend to be chemical-based. Here, I feel fully aligned with everyone’s values. ”

Raven Sterling

“I started with the foundation course, then did the Advanced Courses. So my journey has been from foundation to consultant. I want to go deeper in the subject and share this information with fellow farmers in Canada, South India, and elsewhere because this knowledge is too valuable to keep to myself.

Patrik Thomas

“The ultimate goal is only one thing, it's written on the website of Soil Food Web. I think it's so touching and important. It says "bringing soil back to life." Thankfully with this where you can achieve this. Farmers will benefit, because they reduce their cost and increase their incomes.

Dr. Lu Hongyan

Frequently Asked Questions

Discover if this is the right path for you

  • How does this relate to the CTP or CLP programs of the past?

Our Consultant Training Programs and Certified Lab Program are legacy names that have been replaced by our new Advanced programs. The educational material follows the same learning path, but we provide extended access to Mentor guidance and have renamed them to align more closely with what is learned in each section, rather than what career path someone may choose to pursue with the education they gain here. To claim that you are a Soil Food Web Consultant, one must complete and pass all four of our Advanced Courses: Soil Microscopy, BioComplete™ Compost, Biological Liquid Amendments, & Field Trial.

  • Is there a guarantee?

    We provide a 30-day no-questions-asked money-back guarantee.

  • What do I get when I complete the course?

Every AP Course provides the opportunity to receive a certificate of completion. If you pass all four, you receive a certificate that says you are a Soil Food Web Consultant.

  • Can I select a mentor of my preference?

You will need to have several pieces of equipment available to you in order to complete each Advanced Course. The precise budget will depend on the size of your final project and your current equipment access.. Your mentor will be able to advise you on equipment selection. The minimum requirements are likely to cost around $1,000.

  • Can a partner join me in this program?

We would love for you to invite your partner and anyone else who is interested in restoring our world's soils. They will, however, need to enroll as students separately. Currently, our system is designed for 1:1 interactions. You must be an enrolled CTP student to take part in any meeting.

  • What is the average time investment for someone to complete this course?
